From the big hugs and smiles from students and parents during Lower School drop-off, to the excitement of 6th graders discovering new routines in the Middle School Building, and 9th graders individually ringing the commemoration bell in Schenck Auditorium to mark their transition to the Upper School, D-E was alive with first-day energy! Seniors, the new top Bulldogs on campus, engaged in the nostalgic social media trend of showing off backpacks adorned with their favorite childhood characters, including Hello Kitty and Disney princesses. Toward the end of the day, the Class of 2027 painted the senior rock on the Upper School lots, a beloved tradition to kick off D-E school spirit. We wish our D-E community a fantastic year of learning, growth, connection, and inspiration!
